To further improve project technical management and construction quality, on 15 August, Zhengwei Côte d'Ivoire organized all its engineering and technical personnel for a Construction Technical Exchange Meeting and Quality Reflection Day. The event was hosted by Sun Pengfei, Manager of the Engineering Department, and attended by all engineering and technical staff of the local engineering department and of each project.
During the meeting, the Engineering Department delivered special training sessions on diaphragm wall, pile foundation and prestressed works. Drawing on the actual conditions of overseas construction, participants exchanged views and discussed key construction techniques, quality control points and problems prone to occur during construction. Based on the construction status of their respective projects, the attendees spoke actively and conducted in-depth exchanges on technical difficulties, quality control measures and on-site management experience.
The meeting also reviewed and reflected on the quality issues encountered in previous construction, further strengthening the quality awareness of all engineering and technical personnel. It required each project to stay problem-oriented, draw inferences from one case to guard against similar ones elsewhere, promptly summarize lessons learned, and implement quality management throughout every link of planning, technology and site operations.
Combining professionalism, targeted relevance and practicality, the event further enhanced communication and collaboration among technical personnel across projects and fostered a sound atmosphere of "learning technology, ensuring quality, competing in skills and pursuing improvement", laying a solid foundation for the Company's continued improvement of its overseas project management and engineering quality.
