Recently, the Infrastructure Bureau of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Works of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) (hereinafter referred to as "the Infrastructure Bureau") sent a congratulatory letter to Weihai International on the successful completion of the Administrative Building and Public Square Project in the N'Djili commune of Kinshasa, highly commending the quality of the works and the professionalism, competence and performance of the project team.

The letter noted that the project team coordinated the various trades in an orderly manner, properly resolved the various on-site constraints on construction, and strictly complied with the project's Environmental, Social, Health and Safety (ESHS) management requirements, thereby ensuring the excellent quality of the physical works and the interior fit-out. The Infrastructure Bureau extended its sincere congratulations to the Company, the project team and all front-line workers, and expressed the hope that the Company would carry forward its excellent workmanship and collaboration model in future cooperative projects.

Located in the N'Djili commune of Kinshasa, capital of the DRC, the project comprises the reconstruction of the administrative building and the renovation and upgrading of the public square, covering the building structure, interior fit-out, exterior landscaping, supporting technical facilities, and the supply and installation of various equipment. Of these, the reconstruction of the administrative office building and the public square (Lot 1) passed provisional acceptance on 21 March 2026, and Sainte-Thérèse Square (Lot 2) passed provisional acceptance on 27 July 2026.

The successful completion of the project has greatly improved the urban landscape of the N'Djili commune, enhanced local public services and bettered the living environment of local residents, delivering remarkable social benefits. It also showcases the comprehensive strength of Weihai International in overseas engineering construction and further consolidates the Company's solid foundation for cooperation with the local government.
