On April 22nd, at 21:30 local time, with the completion of the final installation of the steel reinforcement cage, the piling foundation works of the Central Market Project in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo were successfully completed. This project commenced on August 18th, 2022. Since then, the project team overcame numerous difficulties, working overtime and carrying out the construction non-stop, and completed a total of 1,442 various types of pile foundations, which lays a solid foundation for ensuring the timely completion of the main project. Next, the project team will continue to maintain the momentum and make a sprint towards the construction tasks of 130,000 square meter formwork, 40,000 cubic meters of concrete, and 4.5 million blocks of fair-faced wall masonry, striving to deliver a satisfactory overcome to the company and the project owner.
